- 552nd Anniversary of Nicolaus Copernicus’ Birth On the occasion of the anniversary, the Academy prepared a series of 12 radio broadcasts aired on Radio Niepokalanów. The programs, inspired by the exhibition “Nicolaus Copernicus – Pilgrimage to the Stars,” presented the scholar as a Renaissance man—not only an astronomer but also a physician, economist, and clergyman. The broadcasts showcased Nicolaus Copernicus’ lesser-known achievements and his intellectual versatility.
- “Nicolaus Copernicus – Pilgrimage to the Stars” Exhibition Abroad The exhibition was donated by the Academy to the House of Polish Culture in Vilnius and the Cultural Center in Šalčininkai to accompany lectures and educational events.
- Partnership with Riga Technical University During the visit, a memorandum of cooperation was signed, and the exhibition dedicated to Nicolaus Copernicus was presented. Prof. Krzysztof Górski delivered a lecture on the universe and modern cosmology to the University’s students. The meeting was an important step toward developing joint scientific projects.
- Post-Conference Publication in Italy A volume edited by Prof. Marco Bresadola was published in Italy, resulting from a scientific conference in Ferrara organized on the 550th anniversary of Copernicus’ birth. The Nicolaus Copernicus Academy was a co-organizer of the conference and co-financed the publication.
