Conference of the Regional Centre for International Debate, the Centre for Modern Education Foundation and the Copernican Academy on the occasion of Greece’s admission to the Tri-Moor Initiative and the publication of a thematic issue of the journal ‘Analizy Międzynarodowe’ devoted to the Tri-Moor (editor-in-chief Professor Tomasz Grzegorz Grosse).
The main thematic focus of the event will be on cooperation in the broader region of Central and Eastern Europe, i.e. the Tri-Central Sea area. Deepening integration in this region is a huge development opportunity for individual countries in economic, social and cultural terms.
The Russian aggression against Ukraine has revealed how important security cooperation is for the region. Sound security cannot be built without mutual trust, political and societal cooperation. Peace and stability in the region depend to a large extent on economic development, on deepening cooperation in the arms industry, but also in the energy and food industries, which are important for various aspects of security. The expansion of communication and energy infrastructure is also an important tool for ensuring these goals.
The Forum will also be an opportunity to present the output of the fourth issue of the ‘Analizy Międzynarod’ quarterly published by the European Centre for Non-Governmental Projects. Invited eminent specialists and academics, dealing with various aspects of cooperation in Central and Eastern Europe, will write about the ‘hope of the Trilateral’.
