The Nicolaus Copernicus Academy declares that it categorically rejects the “findings” of the so-called audit conducted by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education at our institution.

The so-called “audit activities,” which lasted almost two years, were aimed solely at paralyzing the operations of our institution. This attempt failed, and the final so-called “post-audit statement” formulates conclusions that are devoid of any legal or factual basis.

Importantly, in the course of the so-called “audit activities,” the Ministry of Science and Higher Education rejected virtually all arguments and evidence submitted by the Nicolaus Copernicus Academy. By disregarding facts and evidence, the Ministry formulated unfounded demands against us. We now expect these arbitrary, factually and legally groundless “pseudo-audit findings” to be presented to us in the form of administrative decisions, to which we will respond appropriately, including by seeking judicial review before the administrative courts.

At this stage, attempts to generate public accusations against the Nicolaus Copernicus Academy—whether by Minister M. Kulasek or by officials subordinate to the Ministry—constitute nothing more than a continuation of hostile propaganda activities directed at our institution.

The position of the Nicolaus Copernicus Academy remains transparent and unchanged: in the near future, we will demonstrate the falsity of the propaganda disseminated against us.
