On 8 May 2024, at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Ljubljana, cooperation for the development of science and knowledge transfer was established between the Embassy and the Copernican Academy. The former institution was represented by Dr Krzysztof Olendzki, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland, and the latter by Paweł Derecki, Head of the Administrative Department of the Copernican Academy.
Both parties expressed their willingness to provide mutual organisational support in the implementation of research projects, conferences, symposia and scientific seminars dedicated to the life and scientific legacy of Nicolaus Copernicus.
