New Issue of the Nicolaus Copernicus Academy Information Bulletin
The Office of the Nicolaus Copernicus Academy marks three years of activity, during which it has consistently fulfilled its statutory mission and built strong national and international partnerships.
The sixth issue of the Nicolaus Copernicus Academy Information Bulletin looks back on this period and highlights the Academy’s most important initiatives and achievements.
In this issue, we especially recommend:
- an interview with Dr. hab. Witold Mazurek, Prof. UIK, Director of the Office of the Nicolaus Copernicus Academy, reflecting on three years of the Office’s work;
- a statistical overview of the events, conferences, and partnerships organized by the Academy;
- a presentation of selected research projects featured at the World Copernican Congress;
- a report from the 42nd Congress of the Polish Astronomical Society, held during the jubilee year celebrating the 200th anniversary of the Astronomical Observatory of the University of Warsaw.
