We are pleased to inform you that on February 5, 2026, the President of Poland, Dr. Karol Nawrocki, received the Acting Secretary General of the Nicolaus Copernicus Academy, Prof. Krzysztof Górski, at the Presidential Palace.
During the meeting, Prof. Górski presented the Academy’s current situation, highlighting the institutional attacks carried out by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education for over two years, as well as the spread of misinformation regarding the Academy’s activities in the public sphere.
President Karol Nawrocki expressed his support for the Academy’s leadership and reaffirmed his continued backing for the institution.
