The Acting Secretary General of the Nicolaus Copernicus Academy, Prof. Krzysztof Górski, met with the Vice Governor of the Region of Central Macedonia, Mr. Branislav Prelević, during Poland’s largest food trade fair, FOOD EXPO.
The Greek economic mission, representing two self-governing regions—the Attica Region and the Central Macedonia Region—was among the exhibitors showcasing local products. At the Vice Governor’s invitation, Professor Górski visited the Greek stands as part of the growing cooperation with the Polish-Greek Chamber of Industry and Commerce, headed by President Jerzy Athanasiadis. The Chamber is an official partner of the Copernicus Academy.
During the meeting, Vice Governor Prelević expressed a strong interest in establishing cooperation with the Copernicus Academy in the scientific field, as well as implementing research projects related to the Central Macedonia Region. This meeting represents a significant step toward advancing Polish-Greek collaboration on a scientific level.
