Tomorrow in Andrychów, begins the 4th edition of the Kosmiting Summit, a conference dedicated to modern astronomy education and the popularization of science.
This year’s edition will focus on three areas:
• the popularisation of astronomy and its introduction into schools as an inspiring element of education,
• the development of long-term cooperation between schools and the academic community, so that scientists actively support teachers in sparking a passion that will lead young people to pursue studies in astronomy and fields related to the space sector,
• the use of modern technologies and the STEAM method in teaching – from smartphones and smart telescopes to digital educational resources that allow students to experience science in real time, often without leaving the classroom.
Present among the scheduled speakers are the most experienced teachers from public schools in Poland, as well as representatives from leading universities and observatories.
