During Poland’s largest food fair – FOOD EXPO – the Acting Secretary General of the Nicolaus Copernicus Academy, Prof. Krzysztof Górski, met with the Vice Governor of the Central Macedonia Region, Mr. Branislav Prelevic.
The Greek economic mission, representing two local government regions – the Attica Region and the Central Macedonia Region – participated as one of the exhibitors and showcased their local products. At the Vice Governor’s invitation, Professor Górski visited the Greek booths as part of the growing collaboration with the Polish-Greek Chamber of Industry and Commerce, led by its President, Mr. Jerzy Athanasiadis. This Chamber is a partner of the Nicolaus Copernicus Academy.
During the meeting, Vice Governor Prelević expressed interest in establishing cooperation with the Copernican Academy in the field of science and in implementing research projects related to the Central Macedonia Region.
This meeting marks an important step towards the development of Polish-Greek cooperation in the academic field.
