– This is the biggest event in the world of science, including academia,” said Tomasz Rzymkowski, Deputy Minister of Education and Science, about the ongoing World Copernican Congress in Toruń.
Toruń hosts the The First Copernican World Congresswhich is a meeting place for representatives of the world of science, a space for the exchange of information and good practices, and an opportunity to learn about the results of the latest scientific research in astronomy, economics and medicine.
As one of the event’s guests, Deputy Minister of Science and Education Tomasz Rzymkowski, emphasised, the meeting has a global character due to the presence of the most eminent representatives of disciplines related to the activities of the meeting’s patron, Nicolaus Copernicus.
– This is an exceptional celebration of the birth of Nicolaus Copernicus, one of the most eminent, if not the most eminent Polish scientist, who was a doctor on the one hand, a lawyer on the other, was a theologian, an economist – a Renaissance man,” the Deputy Minister further pointed out.
