Signing of the cooperation agreement between the Copernicus Academy and the Polish-Greek Chamber of Industry and Commerce

On 30 January 2024, cooperation for the development of science and knowledge transfer was established between the Copernicus Academy and the Polish-Greek Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the headquarters of the Thessaloniki Chamber of Commerce. The former institution was represented by Prof. Krzysztof M. Górski, Secretary General, and Prof. Witold Mazurek, Office Director, while the latter was represented by Jerzy Athanasiadis, President. Both parties expressed their willingness to support each other organisationally and financially in the implementation of research projects, conferences, symposia and scientific seminars.

The ceremony was attended by Paresi Dimou, Director of the Professional Chamber of Thessaloniki, and Charalambos Tsairelis, member of the Polish-Greek Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

The aim of the Polish-Greek Chamber of Commerce and Industry is to foster economic and trade relations between Poland and Greece, as well as to protect and promote Polish economic interests in Greece and Greek interests in Poland.
