How does the direction of change in the EU affect Poland and the entire continent? Is Community federalisation an opportunity or a threat to Warsaw’s position in Europe? A scientific conference has begun in Lublin, during which Polish and foreign experts will address the topic of the federalisation of the European Union, analysing the consequences of this process. The event is under the official patronage of the Minister of Education and Science, Przemysław Chernak.

A scientific conference organised by the Copernicus Academy on “Is EU federalisation a threat to Poland and Europe?” has begun in Lublin. The event will last three days.

The meeting will include a series of lectures with experts from Europe and the United States, discussing various aspects of the process of federalisation of the European community and its impact on the stability and development of the European Union. The experts will also analyse the effects of the globalisation process and the geopolitical aspect of the expanding links between states, in the context of exerting political pressure on individual countries.

During the conference, the opening of the College of Legal Studies of the Nicolaus Copernicus University will also take place at 7.15 p.m. in the premises of the Regional Branch of the National Bank of Poland in Lublin, at 6 Fryderyka Chopina Street.
