On 7 May 2024, a working meeting with Dr Krzysztof Olendzki, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Slovenia, took place at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Ljubljana; the Copernicus Academy was represented by Paweł Derecki, Head of the Administrative Department of the Copernicus Academy.

During the meeting, the framework for cooperation in promoting the idea of the Copernican programme implemented by the Copernican Academy was discussed. Paweł Derecki presented the Ambassador with an exhibition dedicated to Copernicus for display in Slovenia and a reprint of the first edition of Nicolaus Copernicus’ De revolutionibus orbium coelestium.
