On the third day of the Copernican World Congress, participants were able to listen to a debate on the problems facing Western civilisation. The discussion was chaired by Krzysztof Szczucki.
– If the question we are asked is whether the constitutionalism of Western civilisation still exists, then we are also, in a way, obliged to answer an even deeper and broader question – does Western civilisation still exist? – said the presenter at the beginning of the debate. – Because constitutionalism in relation to this civilisation is in some sense secondary,” added Dr Szczucki.
The discussion, which took place in Artus Court, featured Manuel Vescovi – former senator of the Italian Republic, Prof. Marius S. Ostrowski of the European University Institute in Florence and Prof. Tomasz Grzegorz Grosse of the University of Warsaw.
